Long time, no see, deviants. I guess I should start doing stuff on here again, huh? The only problem is that I don't really know what I want to do... Well, besides a new "My Friends Are Sociopaths" drabble that will be coming out after Christmas.

Speaking of writing, my FAVOURITE time of yea is coming up... That's right, NaNoWriMo. The one month a year when I try to write a novel and go completely insane due to the stress of it all. Yay.

1. What piece of either historical or ethnic clothing would you most want to try on at least once in your life?  I don't care if you pick something from the opposite gender - I've seen enough users here cosplaying people of the other gender to be rather unfazed by it.

Oh my Rowling. Don't even. Anything from the late 1800s. ANYTHING. Women's, men's, I don't care. Really, more men's. Top hats, tail coats... Me gusta.


2. What is one character from a fictional story (could be one of yours or mine or anyone else's) who you absolutely dislike?  Why?

Pride. Fucking Pride from Fullmetal Alchemist. Holy hell, I hate that sadistic little bitch. NO ONE threatens my Riza Hawkeye. NO ONE THREATENS ONE HALF OF MY OTP. Not even that little shit.

And Sasuke. I fucking DESPISE Sasuke. I don't care if SasuSaku is almost an OTP of mine, I don't fucking care. I hate him. I want him dead. DEAD. IN A DITCH. *goes on eternal rage rant*


3. What is your favourite inspirational quote?

Anything that has ever come out of Albus Dumbledore's mouth. Ever. For example: "You fail to realize that it matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be." and everything else he's said. Ever.

Same thing with J.K. Rowling.


4. What is more helpful when you are feeling down: encouraging words, or a physical gesture like a hug or a squeeze on the shoulder?

Neither. I prefer to be alone when I'm feeling down. Book, music or my favourite movies/anime usually help. I don't like bothering people with my problems, I prefer to handle them alone.


5. What is your favourite movie theme/soundtrack?  Why?

All Harry Potter and Narnia soundtracks, Hedwig's theme especially. I quite like the Sucker Punch soundtrack as well.

And they aren't movies, but the Black Butler, Soul Eater and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood soundtracks are really good.


6. What is one food that you have never had before that you would just LOVE to try?

Um... I don't know... Hm...


7. I'm asking this to satisfy my own curiosity: those of you who know "Harry Potter"...which house do you think I'd fit in and why?

Ravenclaw. Most definitely. Wit, intelligence, wisdom, individuality, and creativity, sounds about right.


8. If you HAD to choose, would you prefer fantasy or science fiction?  Why?

Fantasy, I'd say. I just prefer the more whimsical nature of it. The anything is possible type thing. It's nice, refreshing, even. But I like science fiction too. Fuck, I like all fiction.


9. Who (could be a single person or a group) would you consider to be your hero and why?

Uh... J.K. Rowling, definitely. J.K. Rowling will forever by my hero.

Also, the Elric brothers. I don't care if they aren't real. I fucking love them, and they are totally my heroes.


10. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I never really wanted to be anything, definitively. I had no real idea what I wanted to be (and I still don't really know), until I was about twelve, which is when I decided upon author. It may not be a very viable choice, but it's something, I guess.

Um... The entire Snape death/memory scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part two (okay, basically every scene from Harry Potter), the opening/battle scenes in Sucker Punch, and the end scene of FMA: Conquerer of Shambala.


2) Are you in a fandom/fandoms?  What do you like about it/them?  What do you dislike about it/them?

Oh my god, SO MANY FANDOMS. Do not even get me started. Just don't.


3) If you could choose your own nationality, what country/countries would you be from?

Well, I like being Canadian. Canada is great, but I'd really like to be from/live in England or Scotland.


4) What is the last thing that made you cry?

Hughes' death scene. T.T

Owls, phoenixes, dragons, unicorns and tigers.


6) What is the thing you think you are best at and why?

Writing, I guess. I'm really not good at anything else. Writing is the only thing I've ever done in which I have seen an improvement in my skills, even if I'm still not great.

Time. Specifically, more time to write.

Don't even get me started. Charlotte, Amelia, Violet... The list is a long one.

I'd like to learn how to play the violin, but I don't have the patience. As for language, I'd like to learn Latin or Japanese. Especially Latin.


3. Where would you want to live for the rest of your life?

Somewhere in Canada (Vancouver or Quebec, probably) or Scotland/England. Edinburgh is really nice.


4. What's your favorite shape and why?

A circle, I guess...


5. If you had a TV show or movie made of your life what would it be called? Who would star in it?

That would be far too boring.

I really like all the characters in Tangled, and I like Belle from Beauty and the Beast (made just because she reminds me a lot of myself, but shush).


7. I remember having to do high school/summer reading lists but I was very surprised when I actually liked some of the selections. My favorite was Johnny Tremaine and I still have that same book I read. What was your favorite high school/summer reading list book?

I don't get school/summer reading lists. However, last year we had to read Of Mice and Men, an I quite enjoyed it.


8. David Tennant or Matt Smith? (the 10th and 11th Doctors, respectfully...now my "Doctor Who" fandom is revealed, lol)

I don't watch Doctor Who, but I prefer David Tennant as an actor.


9. What font or typeface fits your personality?

Arial because it's simple and plain.

My laptop. It has all of my writing on it. Also, my copies of the HP books, my great grandmother's locket and my FMA pocket watch.

Holy crap, I love Card Captors. So fucking much. And these two have all of my fucking love. They start off hating each other (a lot), but as the series progresses you can tell that they gain a mutual respect for each other, they actually become good friends and they become protective of each other. Oh, and they are kind of one of the cutest couples ever. So yeah.

6- Chickron (Harry Potter, Book/Film)

I'm completely serious here. Ron and his chicken are so fucking canon. Go and watch the scene in the Chamber of Secrets when he's just fucking eating his chicken without a fucking care in the world. That is love, ladies and gentlemen. That. Is. Love.

5- X Herself (OHSHC, Anime/Manga and Real Life)

So, in my group of friends, each of us have several different anime characters that are like them. Unsurprisingly, Alex is both of the Hitachiin twins from OHSHC (along with Light from Death Note and Lust from FMA). Hence the ship of ALEXEX (lol, her ship name is her username). Now, I'm going to go run before Alex reads this and kills me.

Other Notable Real Life Couples: X Herself (as Ciel and Elizabeth from Black Butler), and X Hazeljv- reluctantly on my part (as Tamaki and Kyoya from OHSHC).

4- Soul X Maka (Soul Eater, Anime/Manga)

These two. These two so much. Soul and Maka are adorable. They're the best. Soul and Maka have a very interesting, imperfect relationship. They fight a lot (LQL), but they are also both willing to protect the other with their lives. Also, Soul's more laid back personality contrasts well with Maka's more up-tight one, and vise versa, giving them a balanced relationship.

3- NaruHina (Naruto, Anime/Manga)

I know, I know. This used to be my ultimate OTP, but things change. That does not change the fact that these two are adorable. As with the previous pairing, Naruto and Hinata have contrasting personalities, which compliment the other's well. I really don't have any other reason for loving this pairing, besides the fact that Hinata loves Naruto and she FUCKING DESERVES HIM. Sakura needs to back the fuck off and either get with Sasuke or die alone with some cats. Hell, I will even let her have Gaara, as long as she BACKS THE FUCK OFF from my NaruHina.

2- Smellershot (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Cartoon)

Oh my Rowling, I love them. I actually discovered that this was a ship only about two days ago, but I have fallen in love with this pairing. Smellerbee and Longshot are so cute. No real reason here, I just love them.

Other Notable ATLA Couples: Kataang, Zuko X Mai, Tyzula (because Azula is obviously a lesbian), Sokka X Suki, and Toph X Teo (lql, this is the most random ship ever).

1- Royai (FMA/FMA: Brotherhood, Anime/Manga)

*heavenly music plays in background* Guuuuuuuuuuys~~. This OTP. Forever these two motherfuckers. Roy and Riza are the best. Hey, remember that one time in Brotherhood around episode 30 when Roy called Riza his "Queen". I died. Holy shit. And near the end when Hawkeye almost dies and Roy is screaming for her... Holy fucking hell. I can't even put my love for these two into words. Everything is Royai and nothing hurts.

Other Notable FMA Couples: EdWin (meh, I don't really ship it), and Hohenhiem X Trisha (if I was not doing only one OTP per show, this would be like 2 on this list).
